About The Event
Instructor: Tammy Bast aka The Rogue Weaver
Intro to Inkle weaving. Make your own ribbon, shoe laces, belts, bag straps, etc.
This is a beginner class, geared to first time inkle weavers. Students will learn to make heddles, warp the loom and weave. We will also cover the basics of reading patterns.
Please bring: 1 skein of sock yarn, your own inkle loom and scissors. If you don't have an Inkle Loom, Sisterhood Fibres will provide one that you can purchase at the workshop. $95 for 72" loom and $149 for 110" loom. Tammy will provide material to make heddles.
In this 3 hour class, you will not complete your project but will have the skills to go home and finish your band.
Please note workshops are kept small to make the most of your day. If you need to cancel, your workshop fee is non refundable but you can transfer your registration to someone else.
