Students will learn to weave a traditional basket from start to finish while learning the proper techniques and finishing touches.
This is a closed bottom basket with a push in handle so the beginner weaver will learn how to do a basic over/under weave. You will learn to weave a closed bottom basket and how to finish the basket with a handle. This will be an all natural basket made with rattan reed. Dimensions are 7”x10” for the base and 7” high before handle.
No experience necessary. You will go home with a beauty of a basket.
Additional fee of $50 for kit. Payable to Doris-Ann on day of workshop.
